Stash of Masks

Post by LinkC » Wed Jan 11, 2012 3:13 pm

Been doing some closet-cleaning, and came across my stash of masks and parts. I have 5 or 6 masks I tried and rejected, and a couple still new in sealed packages. The new ones will probably go to craigslist, but the others all have less than a week on them, and I hate to just throw them away. Any suggestions where I can donate them?

You might check with Dane at the cpaplibrary who manages the free mask trial. Some masks have a long wait list due to need and short supply and some mask models he may not have.

You might ask if anyone on the forum could use them.

Check with your local VA hospital.
If they won't accept the masks as a direc donation their Social Services dept should
be able to put you in contact with a deserving Vet who doesn't have what he/she needs.

Almaost all of my DME (Leg/knee braces, walkers, boot cast, etc, etc) were donated
to my local VA hospital. They were thrilled to get them. When the budget that cares
for our veterans gets cut we all need to do more as individuals to thank the "brave".
