Hello, all --
I was diagnosed with severe OSA in January of this year, and I have been on CPAP since February. I joined this forum last month, and I have found it to be an invaluable source of information. As a result of what I learned here, I realized that I could (and should) have a CPAP that provides efficacy data, so I have recently switched to the Resmed S9 Autoset APAP. I had to pay for it out of pocket, but I was able to obtain it at a substantial discount. Having the ability to monitor the efficacy of my therapy has been extremely helpful. In addition, reading about other users' experience with various masks has helped me to find the perfect mask for me (the Swift FX For Her). Therefore, I wanted to express my sincere thanks for those on this forum who post such important information.

Makes me wonder how many people just lurk and learn here, but rarely participate. No matter. We know they're out there.
Welcome (officially) to the forum, Sara. (I love your avatar. Those pups are adorable.)
Veni, vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.
Dx 11/07: AHI 107, central apnea, Cheyne Stokes respiration, moderate-severe O2 desats. (Simple OSA would be too easy.
