I am looking to chat with some Arizona hose-heads. I am in the Phoenix valley and am looking for a new DME provider plus I'd like to just chat about how you have dealt with the heat and dry air here. Let's chat!!

Re: Any members from Arizona onboard?
I use CPAP.com. It brand new to XPAP therapy probably best to work out all the kinks with a DME, but after that I used CPAP.com. They are the hosts of this forum and a wonderful company. They are very helpful and have good prices and great customer service.
Re: Any members from Arizona onboard?
We are also new to Phoenix (been a year now ) and looking for a new center to get masks from. We are in the East valley and would appreciate any good experiences. We had option care in Seattle and they were great caretakers. Luckily we have united health choice and good health insurance coverage, so we just need to find a good center (option care is over an hour drive away - too far).
Heat and hot air - Hubby (the cpap user) uses his humidifier again. Originally got cpap in Denver, CO and used a humidifier there. In Seattle with such high moisture, he quite using it. Uses is here again in Phoenix, but doesn't turn it on every day, probably about 1/2 the time.
Heat - the bedroom is kept cooler at night to sleep (we turn the air down to 77 when sleeping).
He has not complained about the heat while sleeping (but does during the day).
I grew up in AZ, the trick - go outside one hour every day starting in Feb. Then you will be fine for the summer and be able to go outside for hiking, tennis, etc. But if you don't go outside regularly, instead staying in the air conditioned cars/buildings, the heat is oppressive. Someone said it is like Minn in the winter where you don't go outside for 4 months, except here the 4 months you don't go outside are the summer time.
