Windows XP, ResMed AutoSet S8, and ResScan version ___

Post by Jade » Mon Mar 21, 2011 4:52 pm

If you have this setup (as per the subject line), what version of resscan are you successfully running?

I had version 3.7 working and then went and upgraded to 3.12. I must say it hasn't helped improve my opinion of resmed's programmers...

I'll also mention, though I don't think it really makes a difference, that I'm using a non-resmed card reader. It played nicely with 3.7 and seems to work with 3.12--I can upload data and see the folder/files in windows explorer. I just can't get any data to display in resscan. Although, if I go to the reports, I can at least see the patient name, but that's it.

Please post any troubleshooting help ideas in this thread, or the other one, here: viewtopic/t61789/Help-req-getting-ResSc ... rking.html

I don't know if this will help anything, but here's a link to ACS's driver page for the ACR38.

You might try downloading the most recent version. Use the MSI version for Win XP, of course.

Download ACR38 driver

Heya, jeff. The evidence suggests it is not a driver issue. I can connect the card reader fine. I can create a new patient and download the data from the smart card, as evidenced by the files appearing in the folder, when I view it in windows explorer. I can even download the data to a patient file already in existence. The data simply doesn't display in resscan 3.12 where it did display just fine in 3.7. However, absolutely, I'm open to an alternate explanation, if the facts or reasonable troubleshooting support it.

I am running 3.13 and I am having issues with days showing absolutely no usage (Zero) when in fact I used the machine for 7+ hours. Really strange. I wonder if 3.10 would help with that?

I've been running 3.12 on Win 7 x64 for many months with no problems.

I am not using the smart card for data transfer, however. I have a ResLink module attached to my S8, and it uses a SmartMedia card.
