I Feel Good!!

Wow, I cannot believe how rested I am feeling lately. I was more than 2 years with little change in my sleep. Awhile ago I experimented with turning my pressure up to 13 from 11 and found that to be too much. I developed leak problems and my ears kept plugging up. I went down to 12 and things started to smooth out. Lately I have been having dreams..Yes!! real dreams and that is a good sign. Last night I slept all the way to 5:00 AM and for me that is late. I woke briefly in the night to shut off the tv, I vaguely remember that. I do not remember what I was watching before falling asleep. What a welcome relief to feel so good after so long. I have to say that if you are feeling discouraged to just keep at it. The day will come when you feel good too.

Your encouraging words could be the helpful nudge that gives someone else who is struggling to make CPAP work the will to "keep at it."

Congrats on getting past that plateau and moving to higher ground. I'm just curious, is there any difference in your AHI from the prior pressure to now?

I had un diagnosed Apnea for more than 15 years that is the sad story of awareness towards this problem in India, anyway once i started CPAP therapy
since 15-Nov-2010 I feel I have been reborn, before this I was averse to enter my bedroom and afraid to sleep, I used to Doze off in day time and could keep awake for more than 5 minutes on workplace.

Life has changed since CPAP and God bless the inventors.

I do not have a card reader. As a result I have no idea. I just know that I feel better and am having dreams. Before my "dreams" were that I could not catch my breath.
