Rosy Cheeks

Post by Marke » Tue Nov 30, 2010 4:26 pm

JUst wondering if anyone else has developed rosy cheeks and a redder looking nose
since being on cpap, it almost looks like rosacia, but I'm thinking its more like wind burn
from the air. Dont want to use any lotions because I believe it may cause leaks.
Any thoughts.......

Thanks,
Mark

Yep lotions during the day and wash them off at night. OR

http://www.metrogel.com/

which seems to get absorbed into the skin and does not leave the residue left by standard lotions.

Actually my skin looks great in the morning except for the occasional mask indentation -it's at night after my shower and not putting on moisturiser that I get it all red and blotchy looking - I HATE that feeling.

What about Lansinoh ( pure Lanolin) during the day
then washing it off at night

I wash my face in the morning and apply a good moisturiser under my makeup and my skin goes "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, thank you".

I've then been carefully putting a little moisturiser on the upper part of my face and neck/chest, avoiding all the mask areas - wish there was something that will absorb and not affect the mask. NOT Lansinoh, OMG, can't imagine trying to spread that stuff on my face - it's hard enough getting some out of the tube for lips and nares, besides I would think your pores wouldn't be able to breathe as lanolin has waterproofing properties (that's what keeps the sheep warm and dry).
