Resmed S9 Elite on the way

Post by iguru42 » Thu Oct 28, 2010 10:25 am

My venerable Fisher-Paykel is being replaced with a Resmed S9 Elite and I have a few questions:

Can I use any SD card for data?

Can I use any SD card reader to get the data?

Is the ResScan software free?

I looked at the PDFs for the Elite and the Autoset, but could not discern the difference between the 2, what is the difference?

The S9 comes with an SD card. Complain to the DME if they remove it.

Any SD card reader will work.

The ResScan software is free. Look for the links at the bottom of any message of Uncle_Bob. If you are using a generic SD card reader, do NOT install the drivers included with the software.

The Autoset allows a pressure range. The Elite is one fixed pressure, with EPR.

I love my S9 Elite.

I love my S9 Elite, too.
The card plugs right into the port on my laptop, and my brilliant hubby figured out how to print out reports for my Elite and his Autoset.
