Rain Drops Keep Falling On My Nose

Post by mikemoran » Fri Nov 11, 2005 9:51 am

How come every time my puffer blows
It feels the need to irrigates my nose?

I can’t take the risk of sinuses being fried
So nasal passages must be humidified

Mask or pillow it doesn’t really matter
Onto my proboscis droplets do splatter

Clearly much of the blame I must put on my spouse
And the artic temperature she keeps our house

Her constant desire for high refrigeration
A misguided attempt at meat preservation

Acquiesce I do to the one I hold dear
Learning to live in a frigid atmosphere

One would think that with all the money I spent
I would of been able to staunch this torrent

Covers and kangaroo hose all seem to fail
Nightly I struggle with a Nose-Easter gale

In the few months of being watered and air blown
Three mask sizes my nasal appendage has grown

Unless I want Cyrano as my new appellation
I must find a cure for this constant precipitation

The mask I wear as potential stroke is quite frightening
Just tired of my nose being a rod for lightening

I loved your poem. A talent I had forgotten you had along with the humor. Ordered the everest aura nasal pad. Looks like it will suit me much better. Love, your sis

Hey, everyone, Terry's back and she's singing!!! Hey, honey!!!

cvi,
Hi! Your brother is incredibly creative and talented, in case you didn't know (or want to admit it), and keeps us all laughing all the time. But I'm sure a sister sees her brother in ways no other could (ahem). Glad to meet you. Guess this affliction really does run in families.
