I hear myself breathing in and so does my husband.

Ok the first night I didn't hear anything and I woke up feeling soooo darn good. The rest of the week I have had other issues and now my husband and I both hear me breathing in through the cpap. Not exhaling but taking in air. We have also heard my snoring occasionally. I know I am not feeling as refreshed as I had before. Any ideas anyone? Huggs~ Tammy

Could your mask be leaking? There's usually a sound when your mask is leaking, not as strong as a big leak or pulling the mask away from your face, but often a sound, just on the inspiratory (breathing in) phase.

Check for leaks. You may hear a small leak more than you feel it. One way to tell is to run your finger gently around the seal. You will feel a vibration where the leak might be occurring. A common place for leaks is right at the bridge of the nose.

If you find a small leak, it's a two step process:
1. Pull the mask away from your face to allow the cushion to inflate where the leak is, then, if it's still leaking
2. Adjust the appropriate strap (DURING AN INHALATION phase so that the cushion is fully inflated).

See if those steps help.

I would also recommend checking for leaks. I don't believe you have information posted about your pressure and that may also be an issue. I snored the first week or so of therapy and my pressure was raised from 10 to 12, which took care of the snoring.

After checking for leaks, look at your cflex setting. You may want to try and lower it.
