Have the card in a card reader when you start up Resscan. It'll find it. A download dialog should open up. You may have to do Alt-Tab to get it to show. Check the option to download all available data. You also have to have a patient file open.

Dear friends,

I hope that I am posting this request in the correct place. I received my new S9 less than a week ago. So far, so good. But, like hundreds of others, I believe I could benefit from the pc software to analyze the S9 data. My attempts to download it from the web have failed. Can someone please please tell me where, and as important, HOW to download the ResMed software. You can email me at fred.devries"at"tds.net substitute the "at" with @.

Hi there fellow CPAP friends,

I would really appreciate if someone could let me know how I can find the right software for the S9. I have had the machine for about two weeks and I am interested in finding out the results.

Thanks

I just started using the s9 Auto. Is there a way to get the software at a decent price? Any help would be wonderful!

You dont need the software, you just need a machine that works right at the right pressures and then use the darn thing regular.

It is not for sale to end users except by prescription only. Do a search for post from Uncle Bob in today's threads for a discussion about the latest software. Last time I tried the new link it was dead. Not sure where old link is.

I got a copy Resscan 3.11 of it for free and I dont use it. All I need is a machine that blows properly. Resmed can give me the software, the gizmos, charge me a bunch of money but they cannot give me a machine that blows properly at my prescribed pressure.

bootlegged copies of Resmed software being passed around in PMs? My how so respectful of Intellectual property. Have we gone chinese yet? I wonder how the FBI would look at bootlegged copies of Resmed software? You know, people go to federal prison for that stuff. I took a course in IP and its all federal court stuff, its heavy duty.

Is there something similar on the S8 ?

Yep--just hold down the Info and Setup buttons for 3 seconds and then you can get to the detailed results (shows AHI, OAI, CAI) right on the display. You can also set in the clinical menu to show the AHI number daily under the regular patient Info by setting "Sleep Quality" to "On".

Ok...being a newbie, can you tell me what these are? I think the AHI is the number of times you stop breathing, right?

I, too have the RESMED S9 ELITE, HMi Humidifier.

Thanks for any help.
