SPO-7500 Oximeter or CMS Model 50-E Pulse Oximeter

Scotch tape cuticle of "uncomfortable" finger to reduce pressure ischemia. Alternatively, place sensor on smaller finger.

Can't compare but thumbs up for the CMS50E. Been using for a year with no problems. User manual and software is a bit lacking but product works well.

Hey Guys,
I bought a SPO7500 for couple years but I could not use it because of the software it came with. It won't run on Windows Vista. I installed it to Windows XP but then it always comes up connection time out error. I asked SPO Medical for assistance and they just ignored my request.
May I know what SW you guys are using for XP or Windows Vista?

My SPO Medical 7500 Software (VitaBase) runs fine on both windows XP and Windows 7.0 (32 bit).
Connection errors may be the result of the specific USB port you're using -- and / or other software running on your computer -- I will get connection errors when ResScan is running, and I also got them when I ran SilverLining. I found VitaBase kept the CPAP software from reading the machines, and CPAP software created connection errors on the SPO. My solution is to run each type of software separatey for download purposes. Once I've downloaded the data, I can run them together with no problems.
Of course, in order to get anything from the SPO one has to create as study in the software first. And one needs working connection to create a study. The software will recognize the SPO connection only after it has finished loading the database from the disk.
