Back Home

Post by rock and roll » Mon Sep 26, 2005 1:26 pm

Just wanted to let everybody that send notes to me that we have arrived back home and other than a big mess to clean up, no real damage to home. A few days to clean up and should get back to normal.

Earl

Glad that you're safe and i'm happy for you that your home is allright! I can't imagine how that would feel to have to leave!
We just have tornados here, thankfully no hurricanes!

Wonderful news, r&r! Be darn careful during the cleanup. A lot of injuries are the result of actions during cleanup....falling off roof, injured by a chain saw, strained muscles, etc. Do you guys have electricity yet? How's the gasoline situation? Any food in the stores??

Take care and keep us informed.

R&R, glad to hear you are OK as is your home. Yards can be cleaned up (I know, I had to do it a few times last year with some near misses) and even homes can be rebuilt, but people can never be replaced!

I'm not sure if that was a typo or an excellent example of CPAP humor.... either way, I too am glad to hear your hose is not in the lake.

R&R,

Welcome back. We've all missed you and are happy to hear you're safe and sound now. Looking forward to seeing you back on the boards. Good luck with the cleanup. Don't do more than you can handle (remember the kayak...).

Good to see a post from you, R&R and learn that all is well with you.
As the others have stated, "take care while doing all the clean-up work."
