Humidifier

Post by ELmeadow » Sat Dec 12, 2009 4:53 pm

I use an Elite II CPAP machine. During sleeping hours we keep the room temp at 61 F. This results in condensation in the supply hose. I've secured the hose to prevent a "trap" and water collection. My heater setting is half way between 2 and 3. Any advice on room temp and heater setting or other configurations would be appreciated.

A hose cover generally prevents the water collection in the hose. It is called rainout. If this does not fix it you can get a heated hose that will prevent the condensation.
