comfort gel nasal

Post by steveeas » Fri Oct 23, 2009 5:22 am

Started having a persistent leak near the bridge of my nose right side. Have tweaked the straps several times, but every time I am not on my back, it eventually begins leaking at the same spot. Visually, the mask parts look fine. I've used the mask daily for 2 plus months with great success. Could this be a symptom of a bit of wear beginning?

I used mine for months and started having a leak at the same spot. I did the custom fit method as described in the instructions (boil it) and played with the straps, but I would still get the leaks. Tightening the nose bridge part helped the leaks, but caused pain/marks on my nose.

Between that and reading on here about how the ball connection breaks early and often, I decided to move to a Swift LT.

do the resizing procedure to get a good fit, also wear mask high up on face, push up until it hits bottom of nose

the mask is badly designed and will soon break where the ball clips attach to the clear plastic, so avoid tension on the elastic straps so it lasts a bit longer
