Question About the Flexifit 432 FF Mask - Leak?

Post by Liddelbrook » Tue Oct 13, 2009 5:13 am

I got it today (in my quest for the best mask) and I must say it feels nicely on the face.

However when I put it "om my resmed" the "non-rebreathing valve" creates a hiss beyond normal (I Guess), both holes release a lot air, unbearable, sound wise.

When I close the holes with my fingers, its sort of feels the same as de MIrage FF, just releasing air through the little holes above the nose, and I can breathe allright.

Is my "non-rebreathing valve" just broken or is this normal behavior?

thanks

What is your pressure? My pressure is Min & Max = 8. I have used both the Flexifit 431 and 432 and have not heard any "hissing" sounds coming from the mask. Yours may be broken.
