Remstar Pro M Series Compliance Check Codes

Hi all. Is there any resource which will tell me what the numerical values mean?

I have not been able to find one. It is not in the clinicians manual. It must be a SECRET, SSSSHHHHHH can't tell!!!! You have to be on the Top Secret List at Respirionics!! I asked my DME one time and she just smiled. I decided she did not know either!!

That code is used to verify that phoned in compliance from a patient is correct, or if they are just making up numbers to show they are compliant so insurance will pay. I have asked all the way up to tech support how it is calculated, they said that it is part of the actual software and they have no idea how it is coded. He said the only people who actually know the complete calculation are the programers. I doubt it is some secret, just that you wouldn't understand the equation unless you were a programer or math scholar. What I DO know however is that it is acurate, I have tried numerous times to fool it and it catches me every time. If you have Encore Pro (maybe Encore Viewer also I don't know), go into your patient profile and click on "Phoned-in compliance" you will see blocks where you can put in the values it asks for, there will also be one for the Compliance check number. Your right Jerry, not many DME's know what it's used for, many think it has something to do with repairs.

Well, Thanks AKCPAPGUY. I did not know there was a place to put it in Encore Pro. I may try it and see what it does. Looked in Viewer, I think that is one of the features they left out.
