Nose problem

Hi I am new to this forum and I think I have a weird question. I currently use a Mirage Swift LT for Her Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask with Headgear and have started recently waking up with my nose being chapped. Does any one know why this is. I use a humidifier and it is set at the lowest setting because I tend to have water build up. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks

At your drug store, you can buy Lansinoh make sure you get the Lanolin, It's for mothers who
breast feeds, you will find it in the baby section, it's a 2oz tube for about $10.00 you put
it on your naras and you can put just alittle up your nose, It makes a great seal.

I did this, works ok

my nose still tender in the morn though, prolly from being all puffed out all night.

Most folks will prolly tell you your head gear is too tight, prolly is. I loosened mine up and it eased some of the soreness. feels way too loose but it hangs on there.

I've found nasal pillows act much like mask seals. If they aren't flexing as you breathe, you probably have the headgear too tight. And nare soreness can be another indicator.

With the Optilife, I've also found I get better sealing when I DON'T clip the extension to my t-shirt. YMMV.
