Interview with Dr. Michael Brethon-Jones, April 2002
A
very ineteresting read about the Autoset logic, flow limitations, and hypopneas. May also explain why some of us need IFL1=off on the Puritan Bennett 420e.
And, in case you're wondering:
In Sleep Diagnosis and Therapy ♦ Vol 1 No 7 December-January 2006/2007 Terry Farrel, a Resmed VP at the time wrote:During the late 1980’s Sullivan and Dr. Michael Berthen-Jones first published together on AutoSet™, the first automated algorithm to treat obstructive sleep apnea. AutoSet <snip> can be found in the commercially available S8 AutoSet Vantage™ device.
O.
And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.
