Oak - I have only had minor panic attacks since weaning myself out Zoloft. They have not been severe enough to impact my daily functioning like they were before I started taking Zoloft. A couple of years before I started taking Zoloft, my doctor initially prescribed Lexapro to treat my Panic Disorder. The Lexapro worked for the panic attacks, but I had a strange side effect that I hated. I would get tingly "electric shocks" all day and it was very annoying. My doctor had never heard of that particular side effect. This is why I stopped taking Lexapro. Before switching to Zoloft, I tried just Xanax with limited success. After the PLMD, I figured that I would start Lexapro again or try something else if the panic attacks got too bad, but this has not happened yet. Good luck!

First line sp correction - weaning myself "off" not "out"
Sorry! Spell-check didn't catch it!
