Thanks for the thanks! I spent 20 years, 1 month and 8 days in the Corps but who's counting LOL!
I am primarily a side sleeper and "used" to sleep on my stomach quite a bit which has been an adjustment process since CPAP. I am finding that the Swift LT stays more secure then the other masks I have tried and the comfort classic while comfy seems to leek because i really push my head into the pillow.
I'll try bumping up the pressure a bit more as it can't hurt.

I bumped up the pressure by .6 and my numbers actually went up a bit.
Before the pressure increase
5.2 pressure
0.0 leaks
3.9 AHI
3.5 HI
0.4 AI
After pressure increase
5.8 pressure
0.0 leaks
5.0 AHI
4.5 HI
0.5 AI
I'm assuming it could have been a number of factors and of course every single night is different. I'm gonna keep it there and see how it goes.

Hey, Leatherneck, I have two brothers-in-law who retired from the Corps and my hubby put in 6 years working on Jet aircraft. One brother-in-law went thru Korea and two tours in Nam. Silver Star. He was a Gunnery Sgt. One of the two tours he was w/the Scout Dog platoon. When the gun boats were going out and short a gunner he volunteered to fill in. Our own forces hit them directly w/Agent Orange.
I envy you that consistent 0.0 Leak rate!!!!

Marine Family! Awesome. I have an Uncle who was shot in Tarawa during WWII. I just made him a shadowbox with his decorations and it brought tears to his eyes. He's 87 and in failing health.Slinky wrote:Hey, Leatherneck, I have two brothers-in-law who retired from the Corps and my hubby put in 6 years working on Jet aircraft. It varies with the individual. There are people on this forum who are using straight cpap at 19 and 20 cm.Leatherneck wrote:How high can one go without some exhale relief?rooster wrote:That is still a very low pressure and I don't believe many people use pressure that low and get a successful therapy. But wait and see what others here chime in and say.
10 cm straight cpap is considered a moderate pressure and 14 and above is considered high.
That shadowbox for your uncle was a wonderful idea, Leatherneck! Hubby worked w/a fellow who made it thru the Bataan march. He refused to the day he retired to work w/the Japanese when they were brought into the GM plant. He said there is no forgiving what he and so many others went thru. He lost too many on that march. Give your uncle a thanks and a hug for us.
