Before I "chicken out" a Canadian term for losing my courage. This idea has been floating around in my mind, which I must say has been much more creative since I have been on Cpap. Have fun with this one guys and feel free to "punch holes in it". Here goes..! We have discussed in this post that ResMed should design their FF mask along the lines of the Aptiva which most of us agree is a superior mask. Think along the lines of a childrens blow up swimming pool with a rubber bottom. In miniature, the sides of the swimming pool could be the inner liner of the FF mask a full face version of the Aptiva, with a separate air valve to inflate it separately. (perhaps the treatment air could have a hose attachment for the purpose of inflating the mask). The bottom of the mini pool would represent the hard plastic mask only you wouldn't need the hard plastic mask, just a firm but flexible panel containing a port for the hose to attach to. The treatment air would enter through the port by regular cpap hose from the back of the mask. The straps could be similar to the ones they have now. Imagine how comfortable a mask like this would be. It would be easy and comfortable in any position. OK guys..it's all yours now..CareS
A full face mask without a mask idea!
