My sleep guy read my 2 week download on APAP trial at 6/12. Numbers look pretty good, AHI usually around 2 to 4 or so. I get to keep the Vantage instead of the Elite I started on (yay!) But now he wants me at 4/14. I can't/won't do it since anything over 10.4 wakes me up and I can't breathe at anything under 6 or 7. Can anyone see a reason why this would be a good move?

Definitely! And, I don't mean "MAYBE"!Julie wrote:Did you tell him 4 won't work? Sounds like he's trying to wean you off the machine! Maybe doesn't fully understand the way it all works...

I didn't tell him that 4 won't work, because although he seems like a decent enough guy, I don't think he wants me to go against his orders. So, I'll have do what works for me. If I really needed higher pressures, I'd have to deal with them, but I don't think I want to sacrifice comfort for the possibility of chasing down a couple of events and waking up because of it. I couldn't wait till the trial on 6-12 was over!
