After reading how to view my results on my S8, I went in and took a look...
Now I need someone to tell me what I it means.
My Pres was 6.8
AHI 2.5 day
AI .4 day
HI 2.4 day
I have been on my CPAP therapy for 16 days.
I am so pleased with the way I feel in the morning, but still am getting use to the machine and adjusting. I fiddle with the hose when I roll over, wake up, but don't stay awake long.
I have recently added the Pad-a-Cheeks to my mask and that was a huge help. Making it fun by adding the Pur-Sleep esential oils - first time last night and enjoyed that very much. Ordered a new bed pillow that hopefully will help with my pillow issues... cant wait until it shows up on my doorstep.
So overall, my CPAP experience is great.
Hopefully someone can tell me what the information means.
THanks,
Questions ...
CONGRATULATIONS on doing so well so soon! If only we could all be that fortunate in our adjustment to CPAP therapy. You are doing great!
Your AHI = the number of apneas and hypopneas PER HOUR you experienced that night.
Your AI = the number of apneas PER HOUR you experienced that night.
Your HI = the number of hypopneas PER HOUR you experienced that night.
An AHI of <5.0 is considered "normal" events for a person who does not qualify for CPAP therapy. So an AHI below 5.0 is our goal. As you can see your CPAP therapy is working.
