Thanks!

EncoreAnalyzer is the privately developed softward by JSkinner, one of our forum members. It is freeware but a donation is always appreciated for the time he put into developing it if you are pleased w/it.

Just do an "author" Search in the forum and you can PM James and ask him about a copy. It hasn't been updated to work w/EncorePro v.1.8 the last I knew.

pardon my ignorance, but in what way does it not work with 1.8? i've been running both for a couple of weeks and it seems to work, though i'm new to the data collection thing so maybe there is something i am missing...
thanks

I don't know. I have a RESMED!!! But I was sure I had read that James hadn't gotten around to updating Analyzer to be compatible w/1.8 and didn't intend to since EncoreViewer was coming out specifically for patients. Maybe I'm all wet on this. PM James and ask him.

Works with 1.8I.49. I think there are some problems with labels on 1.8i.65.

I have 1.8I.49 and running windows Vista. The only problem is you have to run it as admin (read notes for Vista users on download instructions) and click on regular Icon for the program. It runs very well.

I hope to fix this problem sometime. The problem is that under vista is the user account doesn't have enough privilages to talk to the DB. This is because even an admin account under visita runs with user level privileges (which is a good thing) To fix this I need to either

1) Figure out what the password of the EPUser account that EP uses so I can authenticate with that. This is the prefered solution as it will just work.

2) Upon installation create a new DB account, EPAUser, so that EPA can talk to the DB without the account being in admin mode. This is not as nice solution and wont' work with accross the network EP setups.
