Thanks for reading my post and for your thoughtful comments. If we are a representative sample, it doesn't speak well for the sleep Doctor profession does it?

Linda - I'm sorry to hear about your sister. I hope she can now get the therapy she needs.

cpapernewbie-- I hadn't thought about only needing a cpap machine now. That opens up a whole lot of options. Thanks

Linda, I echo flounder's sentiment about your sister. Your sister is lucky to have you helping and encouraging her. And doing that download for her! If she will "catch" even an iota of your ability to be proactive in one's own treatment, things could get better for her. I hope she'll let you guide her.
