Post by auntiebeccaneedssleep » Sat Mar 19, 2005 6:39 pm

I was wondering what the difference was between apap and cpap. I couldn't find an apap on cpap.com

Greetings Auntie! The short explaination is that the cpap operates at the fixed setting it is programmed for only, where an autopap will adjust itself to the pressure necessary to provide an airway. Cpap.com sells all the recognized units, when you "browse products" go down one more choice in the drop down menu to "Self-Adjusting Cpaps" and you'll get the autos. Welcome to the forums!
