Masks

Post by Robin-Haas » Tue May 13, 2025 7:57 am

I just got on a sleep study. Last night was my first night. Because of allergies, i sleep wiith my mouth open, otherwise i feel like i cant breathe. The store gave a nasal pillow to start with. It was very comfortable. He didnt think i would have any trouble with it. I felt as if i was suffocating when i tried not to open my mouth. I am on the sense 10. Cpap machine. I was looking at the face masks. They say the best ones are airfit f-20 or airfit f-30. I researched them. I liked what i read.. what do u guys think. I am prone to coughing at night, will the mask cause me issues? I called the store, he hasnt contacted me yet.

How long does it take to get used too? Any suggestions u all may have. Ty

My favorite is Resmed P10 nasal pillow type.

Make sure to get a hypoallergenic filter for your machine, because that means that you'll be breathing in less allergens during the night.

The difference between the F20 and the F30 is that one touches the bridge of your nose, the other doesn't.

I have a preference for FFM's that do not touch the bridge of my nose - so obviously, I suggest you try the F30 first. But that's me, and it doesn't mean you'll prefer the same.
