Alter water chamber or run without it?

I need ideas for modifying a water chamber that's too tall. Or how can I run without one? I have a Resmed Airsense 11.
Background: I was sent a new chamber that's too tall. While traveling, I can't receive a new one. And the old one is at home.

You were sent a tank for the AirSense 10. You options are:

Don't use your CPAP
Buy an Air11 tank (FB Marketplace, Craigslist)
Try to cover the opening, this will be very difficult.

The tank can't be modified, nor can the it be removed without replacing with the side cover.
