Airfit P10 Mask - Causing Skin Pigmentation Issues??

Post by ShepherdKai » Wed Apr 21, 2021 5:29 am

Over the past year I've started developing darker pigmentation of the skin right where the straps on the Airfit P10 go on my face (towards the upper sides of the cheek bones). I'm going to be seeing a dermatologist but thought I'd ask the members here if anyone else has ever experienced this as a result of the CPAP mask? I find it interesting that it started happening shortly after starting to use the Airfit P10 mask.

Also, has anyone found a similar mask to the Airfit P10 but one that is more comfortable when sleeping on your side. Thankfully, I'm normally a back sleeper but it seems every mask I've tried really makes side sleeping an issue.

Thanks

Padacheek has soft, fluffy covers for the straps.
Or you can wrap fleece scraps around them.
Maybe even baby socks with the toes cut out.

The OP is a possible troll.

The original question is from 2020.

How do you know it's the same person?
The original poster on that thread was registered in 2018.
This latest one was registered this week.
Skin darkening is not as common with fair-complected persons
as with those blessed by the melanin goddess.
Dark patches are quite disturbing to those not born with Euro-Whiteness,
because our western culture does not value sepia tones.

I do not suspect jagstyles to be the troll.

ShepherdKai copied & pasted the jagstyles' message from 2020 as seen in the link.

S/He did the same to R34chase95.

Although Pugsy suspects ShepherdKai might be R34chase95, I think it unlikely.

I think it is VERY likely they are the same person.
Exact same post for one thing (the "looking bad" post)...and the other thing is the same IP address is being used by both.

Now there could be any number of reasons for there being 2 different account names and it doesn't hurt anything but I only mentioned it in the one post since it was obviously a duplicate post and didn't want to waste people's time responding again to the same thing.

Sorry.

The copying and pasting of jagstyles message threw me off.

Didn't know that you had their IP.

Being a moderator I do have more powers and seeing IP addresses is one of them.
