I just read an article that said once it reaches Texas, it is predicted to move east and north east because of the upper air currents.

They say the dust will be hitting us this weekend. People with asthma and other breathing problems are cautioned to stay in doors and change the air filters in the HVAC system. Looks like I don't go out of the house this weekend.

I'm sorry. We live with dust storms here in Arizona all the time. Thankfully it doesn't usually trigger my asthma. Rabbitbrush, sagebrush ugh. Anything with those little yellow flowers.

I don't think it is the dust so much as what it carries with it. I react to most flowers, except roses, pine, cedar, cigarette smoke, mold, and who knows what else. My allergist will not test me since I have developed afib, and he is afraid it will stress my heart too much, so I just try to get by best as I can.
