My first experienced with the OptiLife

I just got this mask yesterday and tried it out last night. Previous to this I was using the Swift by Resmed. I thought the Swift was the mask for me but now that I got this mask I think this is the one for me.
PROS:
Comfortable nasal pillows, headgear well placed and very functional
NO leaks even when I moved around.
Quiet - it was like 100X better than the Swift
No red mark on the face in the morning

CONS:
None really, perhaps maybe to some people it could be the chin strap or even the placement of the nasal pillows especially to those who have facial hair. At first it kind a bothered me but once I fell asleep, it felt like I wasn't wearing it.
The mask was never out of alignment all night but I feel that I have to pull the hose which bothers me a bit. I may ask for a lighter hose or remove the condensation cover to see if that will improve.
Overall, I like the OptiLife and highly recommend it.

in 2 months time i have used 2 different nasal masks, a full face mask. my first day with the opti i found the air pressure too much for me. i lowered my pressure to 15. my single day a.i. is .5 and my single day a.h.i. is 4.1, i guess these numbers are okay. ii have zero air leaks and found myself not adjusting this mask like my nasal mask. the jet wash is non existent.

if you have D.M.E. the mask is cheaper and they give you 4 sizes in a neat bag to start off with. the replacement pillow is not even forty dollars unlike with a nasal mask.

i use that ayr saline gel suggested by other forum members.

nostrals and throat a little dry in morning but i understand that is a good sign.
