For Sale PR System One BiPap Auto model 760

Post by jwhjwh54 » Sun Jan 12, 2020 5:58 pm

Thanks to this board I've been compliant on Bipap and now auto Clap. Long story short, Dr was a doofus and prescribed me a bipap machine instead of cpap. After ya'lls help I got my Ahi way down and am using auto CPAP machine now. I told my Dr to prescribe me an Auto CPAP and I'm down to .05 AHI no thanks to him, but all to this board!

Auto Bipap
Works great and so does the humidifier. I have 524 days of averaging 7 hours a night so 3668 hours roughly.

$150 shipped. add $20 if shipping to the west coast, I'll ship UPS 3 day or so. I'm in Tennessee

PM if interested.

I don't really believe your doctory was a "doofus".........because...........
Virtually ALL Bi-level/Bi-PAP machines can be configured as straight CPAP machines and I believe yours can be configured as an Auto CPAP/APAP. It's been discussed on the forum quite a few times and Pugsy (and others) knows what settings to set to achieve it. I think it has to do with setting the EPAP to the minimum pressure, the IPAP to the required maximum pressure and the pressure support to zero.

Keep it for a backup/spare.

I own a PR S1 760.
It has 3 modes of operation

cpap mode which is the fixed plain cpap mode....so super easy to be a regular cpap machine.
fixed bilevel mode
auto bilevel mode

and the auto bilevel mode can be configured to mimic regular apap mode with just a couple of little tweaks of the PS.

If you don't have a spare/backup machine....I suggest you keep this machine in case your new machine fails.
