HumidX regular or plus
For those of you that use an AirMini how does the regular compare to the plus as far as humidification on Airsense 10? I use a level of 6 on my 10, so trying to determine if I get a mini, should I order the plus or not. Can you tell me what level you use on your 10 and which HumidX works best for you. Thanks for any info.

I use the regular when in normal climate, and the plus in desert climates. It gets a bit more complicated when moving around frequently, because they are only good for 30 days once opened. I've found the plus results in too much humidity in typical 35% to 40% indoor humidity. In the future, I plan to mostly buy the regular ones.MVPinBoynton wrote:For those of you that use an AirMini how does the regular compare to the plus as far as humidification on Airsense 10? Thank you for your reply. What humidity setting do you set your home CPAP on?rcobourn wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2019 2:42 pmI use the regular when in normal climate, and the plus in desert climates. Usually set at 6. The first few hours with a new cartridge on the Mini will feel a little dry, but once it gets saturated it is surprisingly effective.

Thanks so much for the follow up reply. I just got the mini today. The sound wasn't as bad as I was expecting. What an amazing device.

No problem. I also got this battery, figuring to use it while camping or when access to power was an issue, and it works great:MVPinBoynton wrote:Thanks so much for the follow up reply. I just got the mini today. The sound wasn't as bad as I was expecting. What an amazing device.

That is the one that I will be getting. It is the same price at CPAP.com, so I will be getting it from them. I don't need the battery until next year when I am going on a safari. I could have gotten a good discount had I bought it with the AirMini on my first order with them; but with it only having a one year warranty, it would almost be gone by the time I use it next year. I will be watching for sales on it next year; plus I read somewhere that ResMed could be coming up with their own battery. Probably the same thing at a higher price though.rcobourn wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 3:28 pmNo problem.
