If I'm way off base, please don't be upset - just trying to help.
When it's a very a long list of names, it may simply be that all those individuals use (or have used) AOL as their internet provider:

Perhaps a trip back to the sleep lab to be checked for a parasomnia(like sleep walking)?

I think this guest should get a lab rat award for the most inspired things to do with mask, hose and machine! Gave me some ideas for sure!

thanks for the helpful words and the humor. i was finally able to login.
i had an account but it expired, dont know why it logged so many names. i know this sounds like a bunch of b.s. but this is whats really happening to me. i ruined the hose last night, i tied the mask to my chair with the hose so tight it ripped, i think the mask is ok though. i do remember the electric went out 2 times and i woke because i couldnt breath right and thats all i remember. i;m thinking of using video like restless roper said but i dont know if i really want to see what i'm actually doing at night, its scary to atually think about it and talk about it but to actually see what i'm doing it might really freak me out. when this first stated happening it was funny to wake in the morning and see this but now its got me scared, wondering what else can go wrong with me. i dont have insurance right now(started new job) so i surely cant afford a visit to the doc or sleep center, i'll just have to deal with it until i get insurance i guess, luckily i have a spare hose.
i get all of these ideas in my sleep of what to do with the mask, if i could only come up with a way to make it stay on my face i'd be rich lol ha, i wouldnt remember it anyway lol

The use of a camera is actually pretty good. There are nanny cams that can film using vcr tape. It will show you what your are actually doing.
