Re: Zero Gravity Adjustable Bed
We have had our adjustable bed for almost ten years. I used a hospital bed for my sleep study with my head raised like I normally slept, and my AH I was 48. If I had been able to sleep flat on my back, it probably would have been higher.

Do you have a link for the specific bed you are talking about, as just looking for it brings up all sorts of different beds.

Re: Zero Gravity Adjustable Bed
Before I attempt to answer the questions above, I had something happen last night that I never thought I would see since being diagnosed with sleep apnea 18 years ago.....
Here is last nights graphs.
You can right click to view the image larger.........
Yes I take the mask off from time to time... I have allergies and especially this time of the year I wake up due to sinus issues.... another squeeze from the spray , wait a bit , and then back to sleep for me........
The exact bed I bought is what they called the premier model..... it is a split King size memory foam bamboo bed and pillows on a Leggett & Platt adjustable bed...
I will say they are not cheap.... but you can't put price on sleep or pain.......
When I laid down on the test model it was very comfortable, but when the salesman started to adjust the bed to my position I actually felt the pain/ soreness melting away until I felt NOTHING but comfort......
Oh, BTW i get nothing for saying these things nor will i get anything should someone decide to give them a try,,,,, I'm just sharing my experience in case someone out there was like me with issue and pain/ soreness that continues daily . I tried them all from sleep numbers, water beds, Casper etc etc ...anyway here is some info you can check out..
Here is the info from the better business bureau that I checked on them....
The business is Greeley Corp Sleep Pro located in Peabody MA They have been in business for 8 years, accredited since 2015 and have an A+ rating.
Their website link
http://sleepzg.com/
You should get all your answers on their site.. the price all depends on what mattress and bed size etc etc you select.... They build the bed for you and deliver it by their employees who show you how to use it and set it all up for you....
Ok I taken up enough time and will say no more to bore anyone...except I really don't want to get out of bed in the morning anymore...LOL

Those were the last two days before receiving the bed.... after that it was 1 -2 as I was testing different positions ... the last few days that I have posted here was after I think I have found my sweet spot......

Re: Zero Gravity Adjustable Bed
Congrats on the good numbers and yes...looks like you found the sweet spot.
The bed helps reduce your pressure needs and let's the machine do a better job at the lower pressures.
Win- win....better sleep quality and better numbers which are always nice to see so that we have an excuse to pat ourselves on the back.

Re: Zero Gravity Adjustable Bed
I owe a lot to you also Pugsy...
You got me through the new mask and new machine nightmare.. You know what the numbers looked like at that time...
I was so happy to finally get through that problem and was inspired by the new sleep that I had found ...... I decided to give this adjustable bed thing a try.... i won't go into all the detail\s but the numbers and how I feel now versus before on the S8 and nose pillows say it all...
THANK YOU again for what you do......

Re: Zero Gravity Adjustable Bed
Yep...Lou and I have been through some experiments. We knew he needed more pressure but more pressure seemed to cause more sleep quality problems than it fixed.
So he had to compromise a bit on that AHI in an effort to actually get decent sleep and feel better during the day.
His AHI wasn't horribly horrible but yeah...it could have stood a little improvement but improving the numbers meant feeling and sleeping like crap. Wasn't worth it.
Now the new bed and new sleeping position seems to have taken away the need for more pressure...happy dance time for sure.
Now he gets new great numbers and sleeps good and even more importantly.....feels those good numbers.
Can't ask for anything more than that.
