HALLELUJAH!!

Post by Slinky » Fri Feb 02, 2007 5:42 pm

HALLELUJAH!! After 3 long weeks my DME "finally" managed to come up w/my replacment Humidaire 3i that was in and then wasn't there and then there wasn't even any paperwork for and then was there to be picked up and then wasn't there and .....

So, I am back in business w/my Resmed S8 Elite and Humidaire 3i. Whew!

What a chore! I did finally ask my sleep lab to intervene. Amazing how one day they have no Humidaire 3i for me nor even paperwork for it and the next voila! Here it is, come get it. Rather than take a chance of its disappearing again before I got there I made a special trip into town to pick it up rather than wait until Monday when I have an appointment w/my sleep pulmo and have to go into town for that.

I am so happy for you Slinky. Too long to wait and a shame you had to have the lab to finally get the DME to open their eyes. Have a good sleep. I understand that our Elite is quieter with the 3i. Yeah.

Its funny how our needs change, as we get older. I used to get real
excited about a $4500.00 Ljutic (shotgun). Now it's a large Simple Cushion.

LOL! Enjoy your humidifier Slinky..

+ Aussie heated hose.

OGH,

Did you ever own a Ljutic......or just get excited about one?

Have you checked the prices lately???? Yikes!

My Remington 3200 was the most expensive one I could afford (20 years ago). Now, I've spent far more in my XPAP equipment than that gun cost me and a good night's sleep is now what I'm "shooting" for.

Best wishes,

Den

And (((hugs))) to all of you too.

Nah, Wulfman, hubby has never had a Ljutic, fortunately he settled for a Baretta Over and Under tho there is another he has talked about for years, I can't remember the name, but the price has deterred him from other than pining over it.

I think he got a bit discouraged when an antique, octogon barrel that my dad was going to give him was stolen. It was recovered months later but the police kept it as evidence for trial and after the trial they refused to give it to him on the grounds he had been reimbursed by his insurance company. When he offered to repay the insurance company the gun had disappeared (into some cop's gun collection I am sure). I don't remember the story on the other guns stolen but he never got any of them back.

As you can tell, I don't know diddley-squat about guns: rifles, shotguns, handguns. Absolutely nothing except I happend to recognize the name when you mentioned it.

Wuff,
I've never owned a Ljutic either. However, I've shot a borrowed one many times, and last year I just missed a good deal on one. I haven't even been to the Grand since it moved to Daley-land.....pulllllll..
