It finally happened

Post by Emmet » Thu Mar 08, 2018 6:10 am

It finally happened.
Lying half-awake, it suddenly occurred to me that I'd forgotten to put on my CPAP. Touching my face, I found that I was mistaken; I've become sufficiently inured to it, my P10 is sufficiently comfortable and my Resmed sufficiently quiet, that I hadn't noticed that it was even there.
7.56 hours with an AHI of 3.6; personal best.

Wonderful news! I never thought it could happen either. Just like you, I was surprised and delighted to find that wearing my mask had become second nature. I'm only aware of it now when it leaks a bit as I shift sleeping position, but it only takes a moment to adjust it and fall back asleep. Awesome! So glad you got there. :D

Well done, you! :D

Enshaded in forgetfulness divine

Good for you! I'm there myself, but it has taken two full months.

Congrats, now you are ready for the next step! Get and learn Sleepyhead, post some screens, get some ideas to get the AHI under two. Once you get in that range you are in tall Cotton. Jim

If you don't want to touch the mask and the lights are out, just open your mouth for a second. You'll feel the pressure blowing out of your mouth!

Took me about 3 months to get to that point, but it's wonderful when it happens!

I meant just open your mouth (momentarily) and you'll be very aware of the pressure from your nasal mask!
