FFM when I have a cold - but ??

Post by paradiddle » Thu Feb 18, 2016 1:56 pm

I have been a life long user of the nasal mask same model since 2004 - Ultra Mirage II..

Some times I am congested or have a cold and have nasal blockage. I bought a ResMed Quattro a year ago. I attempted it and found it awful. But I am sure I need to get used to it because if I can't get any air in my nose - what else can be done. I do the mask switch in the S9 or S8 settings - I use EPR 3. I never need ramp anymore but I even tried with ramp just to see if I just needed to ease into it. I think longer ramping may be the best solution. anyway - just looking for some thoughts.

Question: what is the silicone port plug for? It just blocks 2 holes - can you take it out for more exhaust port ?
