I finally took delivery of the right machine from my DME yesterday. They incorrectly ordered me a 100H M series instead of the 200H M Plus CFlex unit. I kind of got used to the initial struggle of breathing out against the machine, even though my pressure is only 10. However last night it was instant comfort. With no issues. Slept like a baby. The one funny thing I did notice however, was using a Activa mask last night I started getting leaks later in the morning before I got up. I tended to wear it so darn loose before, and apparently now with the Cflex it is a tad looser after a while. I may pop for the Encore software at some point (when I get employed again) but for now it's fine. That machine is indeed whisper quiet. The RT allowed me to take the box home sealed and set it up myself (how revolutionary eh?) Right from the factory it was set at a pressure of 10, so not adjustment needed there. I set the altitude for the 5000ft as that's about what we are here in Salt Lake City. I set the CFlex to 2 for starters. It's about right for me so far. All in all I can't say enough good things about this machine. The DME (Apria) is about as inept as the rest. At least they were willing to order one of these where Med ONE said NO we won't. The ResMed Swift and Activa are their best received masks so they tend to sell more of these than any other I was told. They also carry the F&P stuff. The Invacare stuff was lame, but MedONe had a contract with them so they are in bed with that deal. Glad I got rid of them however........

warrior,
If your machine is a M series Plus, do not waste your money on the software. The only thing that the Plus records is compliance data, it will not give you any details on events.
Sounds like you are off to a good start.

Well, I'm stuck for now. I had to get Apria to back date the order just to get this one as I'm not unemployed and lost my insurance. So this was the last thing I got with the insurance in place. Who knows, I might strike it rich with a new job. But until then this + unit will do me just fine.......
