Date and time on PR ASPAP

Post by Penngwyne » Thu Oct 15, 2015 10:42 am

Never thought of this (for years) until I started looking at SH

How is date and time set?
I can't find a screen in set up.
Is it a function of the encore software?

Just curious!

Respironics machines have an internal clock that is set at the factor for date and time (GMT).
SleepyHead and Encore pull off this internal clock along with your computer clock to report time.
Sleepyhead had a time zone adjustment as well as clock drift manual adjustment if you find your machine is off just a little. Nothing you can do about the internal clock itself.
Encore Basic pulls off your computer clock. Encore Pro uses the computer clock as well as a time zone adjustment area.
