Nope............I have an F&P Icon Auto for travel and backup already.................just find it curious that someone lists a machine for sale without giving details of exactly what the machine is............is it a straight CPAP, is it and Auto CPAP? Pretty basic details for a seller to list. When people see posts with machines for sale, and the seller doesn't know what they are selling, it tends to turn prospective buyers away, basic salesmanship 101...........you must not have taken that course in college.

You know, I heard about the rudeness from "entitled" posters from this site and was warned.

I'm out and back to sites that really care for people and not so rude.

BTW, I guess my Masters Degree didn't cover such a life changing college course as "basic salesmanship", I feel somewhat left out of my nursing career now not knowing such a interesting course! Now back to WalMart sales you go.

Are you not interested in selling? A potential buyer should know up front the details of what you are selling before bothering to contact you.

Actual model number of what you have, blower hours, pics to show condition and validation of blower hours are all going to be asked by any potential buyer.

Lack of details is a red flag and shows possible lack of understanding what you have and what it is.

I see nothing wrong with his asking which model u have for sale...after all inquisitive minds want to know. I wouldnt buy without knowing...

It should include such a course.

A nurse should -

- Gain the confidence of the patient in the nurse by explaining to the patient clearly what he/she is planning to do and how it will benefit the patient.

- Maintain the confidence of the patient by explaining to the patient clearly what he/she is doing and how it will benefit the patient.

- Reenforce the confidence of the patient by explaining to the patient clearly what he/she did and how it is benefiting the patient.

These are all basic sales techniques. I have been in the hospital several times in the last two years and this skill is sorely lacking in many nurses including those with Masters degrees.

I don't get why anyone would be upset, much less yourself. If you want to sell a cpap on this list, you need to give people the information they need. Instead of insulting someone, just admit you screwed up and actually LIST the important information about your cpap. Why is this such a difficult concept, especially for someone who is as well educated as yourself? If you were buying the machine, you'd want to know the specific model number, the right identification of the item and run hours including photos of the item, the cords, the run hours (which also shows that the darn thing turns on). This is basic business. You'd include that info in an ad on Craigslist or your item would never sell because people can't be bothered.
