not getting good sleep yet

Post by StephenR » Tue Feb 10, 2015 12:09 pm

hi all...

after a bad reaction to CPAP I have been trying other methods of dealing with my apnea.
Have to say I have had some success but still do not feel like I am sleeping well.

Got a new Oximeter, tried it last night...I know one night cannot tell the whole story, but this looks like disturbed sleep to me...

I will do a few more nights and see what I get, then I feel like it is another trip to the sleep doc.

links seem to be broken
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

I am not one who can claim authority on oximeter reports. As a user I'm just saying that your low pulse would have me calling my doctor - and not just the sleep doctor. I'm interested in hearing what those in the know say about your reports.

Hi there..

apparently my heart is healthy...I did a whole range of cardiac tests last year...there is something going on in my "sleep" looks like CAs, as Pugsy and Palerider both pointed out to me...

I guess it means I will have to try CPAP again, not a happy prospect...but if it is the only way then I have to find a way to
surrender to the machine

Your O2 low levels versus the mean percent would indicate possible apnea. Based off your pulse; are you on beta-blockers? Also, your gallery showed data from Sleepyhead for September. Why the drastic drop from 10cm to 6cm between the 6th and 7th? The O2 levels during that time period were better controlled. Your CA's look like you might not have the correct machine to address your apneas. . .but that's just my opinion and we all know how much that is worth.
