I just got a new nasal mask - the AirFit N10. I tried it for the first time last night and wasn't happy with it, at least not compared to my Eson. The first issue was that even though I fit-tested it and got no leaks (S9 APAP), it seemed to blow cold air into my eyes when put it on to sleep. Then, when I woke up 90 minutes later, my upper lip was really hurting from the pressure. I'm assuming that one was caused by having the straps too tight?
And even though I sized the mask prior to ordering it, using the template on their site, it feels really small on my nose. I felt the air rippling across the bridge of my nose, which is a bit annoying.
Can I get any tips from people who use (or have used) this mask on how to make it more comfortable?
Thanks!
Ken

Re: Any Tips For Using AirFit N10 Nasal Mask?
I started my therapy with the N 10 mask and had the same troubles you are having, But I also was waking up in the early mornings when my pressures were higher unable to exhale this happened too many time so my DME changed me to the F&P Eson mask and I couldn't be happier.
For me this Eson mask is working out far better than the Airfit N10, I have no leak troubles at all, I was constantly fiddling with that N10 to get a good seal , I do however like the way the N10 fit and felt on the noggin, I just couldn't breath with it.
Bottom line is not all mask work the same for everyone and I agree with that, but for Me the Eson works much better the the N10, If your unhappy with your Eson and the N10 isn't working try the Wisp .
Good Luck!

Thanks! That's great information. I'll try again a few more items with the N10, but if I still don't like it I will return it. I love me some Return Insurance:).
Cheers!
