I would be happy to start an OT thread for debating the possible merits of having pointless arguments. (If it doesn't get me censured on the forum floor.) Which side of that hypothetical discussion would you like me to take?

Hmmm... let's see... pointless, not having a point... the blunt side?

It's now 6 days later. The message has not appeared again, the machine is functioning normally, and I'm not missing any stats.
Re: Device in diagnostic process

Although, sometimes being blunt can be a bit of a double-edged sword.
But I admit I would truly love to know the meaning of the OP's error message, despite the fact that its rarity means I would likely never experience it myself.
But hey, if we only wondered about the stuff that really mattered in life, where would forums be?

Re: Device in diagnostic process
The more devices we use, the more likely that one may misbehave.
Maybe it's a defect, normal wear, or the universe simply trying to tell us to chill.
Perhaps it's time we finally listened.

Re: Device in diagnostic process
Well, as our brothers the Eagles have taught us, we are all just prisoners here of our own device.

More of a double edged letter opener.
