Mask leaking

Post by Sueblevins » Sun Apr 04, 2021 10:28 am

Is there anyway to stop my mask from leaking during the night? I’m ok until I get hot during the night.

Welcome to the forum! Could you tell us what kind of mask you have?

Check padacheek.com for mask liners.

When you wake up during the night, try wiping the cushion with the blankets or a clean dry t-shirt. If the cushion is too oily, use baby wipes, dry and put it back on.

If I were in the USA, I'd try the liners everyone raves about here.

Thanks but that sounds like a lot of work during the night.

Amara View is the mask used.

Sue...don't use the report button when you are trying to reply to someone...use the quotations button instead.
When you use the report/flag button no one can see what you are saying.

Make sure your mask isn’t TOO tight. Too tight also can create leaks worse than if it’s too loose. I have the ResMed F30 which is almost identical to the Amara View and I was getting small leaks here and there and realized I had it cranked too tight on my face. Adjusted slightly and they went away.
