I have noticed that when I lay on my back I seem to have no issues with the CPAP pressure, however when I lay on my side I feel almost like I'm being suffocated. I'm a natural side sleeper and it's very difficult for me to sleep on my back. I wondering if anyone has had an issue like this and how they solved it. I thank you for any advice!
CPAP And Sleep Position Problem
Re: CPAP And Sleep Position Problem
What pressure are you using?
Using the ramp?
What size nasal pillow?
I side sleep all the time and used the P10 for many years without any issues at all.

I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.
Re: CPAP And Sleep Position Problem
Are you shoving your face into the pillow? (or anything else)
P10 is a very tightly diffused mask.
I side sleep exclusively and have no problem.
Just a thought.

Re: CPAP And Sleep Position Problem
I had always been a side sleeper. However, when they were titrating me for the first time I settled on my back. They adjusted the pressure for that and I've been a back sleeper ever since.
