If it's on the SD20 card, copy and upload all the files to a third party server like Dropbox or Google Docs and post the link.

If you're using one of the software programs, take a PrintSreen image of the report pages, upload to a third party like Photobucket or Imageshack and post the link.

OK, so, previous points all remain valid and will be re-examined, but in no particular order:
  • You're trying every night, which is great.
  • Your average use per night is 94 minutes, so you are seeing little (if any) benefits yet (there's maybe 3 spots where's there's about 30 minutes of sleep, and these occur on 3 different nights).
  • Right about now (or really soon) you're thinking it's impossible to continue, and real easy to quit, but erase those thoughts because there's a ton of stuff that can be done.
  • The pressures need to be reduced, so get a copy of the LONG report of the sleep study. During titration, a number of different combinations were probably attempted, so perhaps there may be some leeway there (i.e., use some pressures below the aforementioned critical (air into stomach) area that result in a good (not perfect) AHI).
  • Get your MD on board, explain the problems you're having, and tell him if he doesn't help fix the problem you're going to throw The Rock out the window and come down there and rip out his throat.
  • We should get rid of The Rock and get a PR System One AutoBiPAP and use it's features to construct a preferential attack on events, use BiFlex, better monitor, etc.
  • This "preferential attack" will include judicious use of EPAP. If we can limit that, we can greatly reduce mean pressure and consequently the gastric symptoms.
  • Right now The Rock is set with a ramp of 30 minutes, you can extend that to 45 minutes. Also, you can keep hitting that ramp button while you're awake to reduce pressures and start from scratch.
  • Weight loss will be important in that a 10% weight loss drops AHI severity by half (all comers) so pressure reduction should become possible there.
  • While The Rock records events, it cannot differentiate between central and obstructive apneas. Consequently, one might misinterpret events and make wrong clinical decisions.
  • Normally, when creating a long post, it's a good idea to upload it frequently (which avoids the notation of multiple edits) or write it on Notepad first and then upload it.

For instance, in this area, you're still having "apneas" at therapeutic pressure (which would normally be an "Oh, no!" sign), but since heart pulsations are visible on the flow line ("ballistocardiographic artifact") the airway is probably open, so these are probably central apneas, and in this milieau (Sleep-Wake Junk), be ignored:

Also, it has come to my attention that my previous image representing VPAP COPD has become dated.

Consequently, it will now be replaced by

BTW, following the posting of the diagnostic results of the NPSG, there will be a brief period of nagging on why it's a REAL good idea to do all this.

The problem I'm having now is that the straps that hold mask on keep slipping out of the mask n don't hold Sigh I will discuss this with my dr. Wednesday morning. Any recommendations for a solid easy to use full face mask ?

The dr lowered the pressure to 14/18. N sent order in for new mask but said this is still the machine I need. I don't understand. But last night it came up with a error humidity sensor bad ??? N it's not working Sigh frustration

Hang in there. IM glad youre on top of monitoring potentially serious health problems. Rule that out first.

Bipap like anything else is an art form. Small changes can be big. Experience counts.

Those pressures sound so high, can you work up instead of working down?

I adjust my own, but I can tell you 1 point difference is huge for me.

I like the Quattro mirage mask, and I actually use a small. The smaller the mask sometimes, the better the leak control although
you are more likely to get leaks.

Try experimenting while youre awake and see if these kinds of "buildups" occur.

The pressure may be just too much to start with. Youre sleeping on your side or stomach right?

Its infuriating, but this takes a huge amount of patience, help, experience.
