Where can I download Encore Basic?

I am new to this forum and a new cpap user. I was able to download Sleepyhead software and have found it very helpful. Now I would like to look at Encore Basic but I can't find the free download anywhere. Please help. I have a Respironcs S-1 Auto 60 series.

I'm using an older m series with the encore smart card. I use 64 bit windows. I think I need EncorePro 2.4? Can't seem to get anything else to work. Is it available to download anywhere?

Encore Pro is a real pain. I no longer have a copy but Encore Basic will work on your machine and 64 bit computer as long as it is not Win 8. I have used it on the Respirionics Classic and the "M" series on Win 7 and it runs fine. If you want a copy let me know and I will PM you the link to it. I may still have the work around for Win 8 64 Bit if you need it.

I have a vintage 2006 Respironics BiPAP Auto with Bi-Flex and I have been using Encore Pro, version 1.6i, along with an Infineer card reader from the onset. It seems a very basic software product to begin with. Is the "Encore Basic" which I assume to be v2 similar to the older "Encore Pro" in presentation?

My unit display now reads 14925 hours, and the start/stop dates recorded in Encore Pro are now off considerably from the real time clock. I am thinking of upgrading to the newest version of Respironics "BiPAP Auto with Bi-Flex." I have an appointment next month for a replacement machine prescription, but looking at the Respironics site, I am not sure what would be that follow on product.

So, my second question would be do the newer models need version 2, or can they still use version 1.6? If they need the former, can you send me the link to Encore Basic v2?

No the newer machines will not run on Encore Pro 1.6 or 1.8. Pro got to be a real problem after v 1.8 it was written for multiple users and passworded that had to be changed on a regular basis. I think your new machine will run on Sleepyhead which a lot of users like but if you are used to Encore you might like the look of Encore Basic. It is the only program that will run on the new computers and also run on the old machines as well as the new ones. The clock chip which is not very good in the first place looses time and as the little 2032 battery goes dead it really looses time. Time must be set by accessing the motherboard so generally must be reset at a service center.

Check your PM's and I will send a link to Basic. You can load it and try it on your old machine to see if you like it.

Hey, everyone wanting Basic....with so many computers using Windows 8 right now it would be helpful if you told us what OS your computer has.
Basic won't install in Windows 8 but there is a way to make it work on Windows 8...but we have to send you something different.
So tell us ahead of time if you have Windows 8 on the computer. Saves everyone some time and energy.
The problem is with the installer in Basic. It doesn't play nice with Win8..if we bypass the installer Basic will work just fine on Win 8.

Could somebody please send me the encore basic link?

I'm new to CPAP and new to this forum. I am interested in downloading Encore Basic please. I am running Windows 7. I'm impressed with the way it shows mask leakage.
