A short poem for my fellow hoseheads

Post by Wulfman » Sun May 14, 2006 8:13 pm

On the hose I have been for a year
And the improvements have been quite clear
On this forum I've met
The best hoseheads yet
And will cherish their friendship so dear.

Best wishes,

Den

Okay Den,

Between you, Gidgie, and Kteague I am feeling like the loser in 6th grade who can't be original and write one blessed poem!

Hee hee, I really liked your poem too. Congrats on your one year!

The Wulfman it's clear,
has helped many here.
His advice is so right,
it's helped make their night.

For many have asked,
and Den's made it his task
to help those in need
for it's just his creed.

Perhaps another year
he'll stay with us here,
and help pave the way
for those in dismay.

Congrats, Den.

Regards,
Bill

Den and Bill,
Thanks for the poems that speak so well to the relationships strangers who share a parallel journey can share. It's inspiring how some of the "old-timers" stick around to help the newbies, when they could say "I got my sleep - you get yours." Thanks.
Kathy

Bathroom wall poems are about my speed. Here's my versions of a classic.

Pre-Cpap

Here I lay so broken hearted
Tryed to breath, but only snorted.

Post-pap

Here I lay, so sound asleep
Do I snore? Not a peep.

Pretty Lame, I know.

Now let's see someone do a limerick.

There once was a cpap-er from Nantucket...

There once was a snorter from Nile
who slept only once in awhile
but then Rested Gal
became their best pal
and now sleep they soundly with smile.

This is way too much fun!

Yeah! Are we all having fun yet? Isn't this great? There's a few 'funny bone' threads running right now......even our very own FunnyMan Mike's got one going......!

Den,

See what you went and did? Geesh, just when all the song parodies and cpapoetry had died down and you go dredge it all up again!!!

Only kidding. Very cute. It's a side of you we've never seen.

Here's my contribution:

There once was a fellow named Den
Who one day just picked up a pen
He gave us a rhyme
And all had a good time
He became my most favorite Wulfman (I know, it's doesn't rhyme)

Back at ya, kid-o

There once was a hosehead named Lori
I consider her my friend....that's MY story
She'd type and she'd type
And that's not just hype
For all those she's helped....we're not sorry
