A quick question about Encore Basic

Post by old dude » Sun Aug 11, 2013 8:53 am

I've been PAPing now since 4/16/13. When I attempt to view my Daily Details in Encore Basic, it displays "Sleep Therapy Long Term Trends" (averages) for the dates 4/16/13 through 8/10/13 but then only actually displays the full "Daily Details" for the last week, i.e., 8/5/13 through 8/11/13. It does this whether you actually select the complete date range or tell it to display all data.

Is this just a design parameter that is built in? I'd like to be able to go back and select a particular date and get the full details for that night, but I can't find a way to do that in preferences.

Thanks for your help.

It's way the software is designed to work. By default is shows the last 7 days detailed graphs in the dates chosen but there is a way to review the past detailed daily graphs
It has to do with the date parameters to you choose.
Limit the ending date that you choose to an older date and not today's date.

Example...you want to see the daily detailed graphs from the first week of July...you can only see 7 nights details at a time so for the first of July choose July 1 as the beginning date and July 7 as the ending date and you with have 7 detailed graphs ending with 7/7 and beginning with 7/1

So the trick is to choose an ending date that is older and at the end of the time you want to see the detailed graphs.
If you let it include today's date you will always get the most recent 7 night's detailed reports.

That's the way the program is designed. The Daily Details are only shown for the last seven days in the date range selected unless you remember to press the "Refresh" button before you press the "View" button. If you don't "refresh" the data range, then the date range on the data is NOT updated and you still will get the last seven days of data in the Daily Details rather than the last seven days of the selected data range.

If my instructions don't yet make sense, let me know.

It seems that Encore Basic will only display about a weeks worth of detailed data at a time. What you can do to view any particular day is to shorten the days selected to include only those days you are interested in viewing.

So - even though you have data from 4/16/13 through 8/10/13, if you wanted to look at data from 6/1/13 through 6/7/13 (for example), you would do the following:

1) From the History Tab, under the Compliance Download line, select Detail.
2) On the Report Pop-Up, select the button to select a range of dates. Enter the range start as 6/1/13, and the range end as 6/7/13.
3) Click on "View."
4) After some time, your computer will display a report. The first 3 pages will be summary information for the range of dates selected. The next 7 pages will show daily details for the dates 6/1 - 6/7. The final two pages will be additional summary data.

I hope this helps!

John

You know folks, I'm beginning to see why many of you say that it's good to have both SleepyHead and Encore Basic. There's no question that SH seems more geared toward an individual user and Encore toward the clinician, rendering SH much more user friendly. But for me anyway, the leak data is presented much more clearly in EB and right now leaks are my biggest struggle.
